Roll out the red carpet! This year’s Fall Leadership Conference will be hosted at the Career and Technical Education Center (CTECH) and Hobbs High School in Hobbs, NM. We are excited to welcome chapter members and visitors from across the state to engage in professional development, networking, and community service. Attendees will also have the chance to earn the prestigious New Mexico Statesman Award.

Statesman Award: The SkillsUSA NM Statesman Award is presented to members who demonstrate SkillsUSA knowledge and civic awareness, along with an understanding of the SkillsUSA Framework and career and technical education (CTE). This award is completely optional and available to members who participate in the SkillsUSA NM Fall Leadership Conference. Please use the NM Statesman Informational Interview Questionnaire to prepare your members for interviews; there is required pre-work that must be submitted during the interview. Statesman Award Pins will be presented during the Reflection and Closing on Saturday.
Pin Design: The annual Pin Design Contest for the 2024 State Leadership and Skills Conference is now open! The purpose of this contest is to evaluate a contestant’s creative, technical, and written presentation skills and to recognize outstanding students for excellence and professionalism. The competition is open to all active SkillsUSA student members. Advisors: Please submit design and written statement to [email protected] by Friday, November 1, 2024 – Pin Design Contest Rules

Cost: $40-$50 per registrant
- $50 if chapter/school is under 2 hours from Hobbs CTECH
- $45 if chapter/school is between 2-5 hours from Hobbs CTECH
- $40 if chapter/school is over 5 hours from Hobbs CTECH
