Registration for the 2025 SkillsUSA New Mexico Fall Leadership Conference is OPEN

Registration Deadline: November 5, 2025

Tune into your potential! This year’s Fall Leadership Conference will be hosted at the Career and Technical Education Center (CTECH) and Hobbs High School in Hobbs, NM for their second rotational year. We are excited to welcome chapter members and visitors from across the state to hit the right notes through professional development, networking, and community service. Attendees will also have the chance to take center stage by earning the prestigious New Mexico Statesman Award.

Statesman Award: The SkillsUSA NM Statesman Award is presented to members who demonstrate SkillsUSA knowledge and civic awareness, along with an understanding of the SkillsUSA Framework and career and technical education (CTE). This award is completely optional and available to members who participate in the SkillsUSA NM Fall Leadership Conference.

  • State Statesman Assessment

Please use the NM Statesman Informational Interview Questionnaire to prepare your members for interviews and make sure that they complete the assigned pre-work in Absorb. The Framework and CTE Knowledge Certifications as well as the State Statesman Assessment must be completed in Absorb by 5:00 PM on Thursday, November 13th. The completed Informational Interview Questionnaire will be turned in on site prior to the interviews. Statesman Award Pins will be presented during the Reflection and Closing on Saturday.

Professional members will have the opportunity to interview students, while the State Officer Team will be available to interview professional members.

Pin Design: The annual Pin Design Contest for the 2025 State Leadership and Skills Conference is now open! The purpose of this contest is to evaluate a contestant’s creative, technical, and written presentation skills and to recognize outstanding students for excellence and professionalism. The competition is open to all registered & active SkillsUSA student members. Advisors: Please submit design and written statement to our Submission Form by Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

Cost

  • $70 if chapter/school is under 2 hours from Hobbs CTECH
  • $65 if chapter/school is between 2-5 hours from Hobbs CTECH
  • $60 if chapter/school is over 5 hours from Hobbs CTECH
