2022 SkillsUSA NM Fall Leadership Conference – Doña Ana Community College (DACC)

Friday, November 4 – Saturday, November 5 

Registration is now open for the New Mexico Fall Leadership Conference.  

Download the Conference Program and register your chapter today!  The program contains all the details you need to get started including hotel block information.  Blocks of rooms are being held at the Holiday Inn Express Las Cruces North, Fairfield Inn Las Cruces, and the TownePlace Suites Las Cruces.

THE BASICS
This year’s 2022 SkillsUSA NM Fall Leadership Conference will the first in-person conference since 2019.   We are excited to provide both students and advisors with opportunities for professional development.  Over a day and a half, chapter members from across the state will participate in leadership development and framework/program of work sessions.  We will also be able to provide an opportunity for students to earn the NM Statesman Award.

Who:  All SkillsUSA members and advisors are invited!
What:  2022 Fall Leadership Conference
When:  November 4 -5, 2022
Where:  Doña Ana Community College (DACC) East Mesa Campus (please see campus map)
Cost:  Free for first 10 members of each Chapter due to a generous grant from the Public Education Department, and $75 per person for additional participants.  Registration includes a conference t-shirt, breakfast and lunch on Saturday.

Friday, November 4th
            – 5:30 – 6:45 p.m.       Registration
            – 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.       Opening General Session (Welcome & Keynote Speaker)

Saturday, November 5th

            – 8:00 a.m.                   Breakfast
            – 8:45 – 9:00 a.m.        Welcome
            – 9:00 – 11:45 a.m.      Leadership Development (Students & Advisors)
            – 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.      Lunch
            – 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.        SkillsUSA Framework 101 & Story Development – Students

     SLSC 2023 Virtual Pin Design Contest – Submission Deadline November 18, 2022

    The annual Pin Design Contest for the 2023 State Leadership and Skills Conference is now open!  The purpose of this contest is to evaluate a contestant’s creative, technical, and written presentation skills and to recognize outstanding students for excellence and professionalism.
