SkillsUSA has an impact on the lives of America’s future workforce through the development of personal, workplace and technical skills grounded in academics. There are a few basic steps to follow when starting a new chapter. Many of the resources you need can be found right here on the SkillsUSA New Mexico website, while others are available for purchase. One of the most important things to remember is that SkillsUSA is a student run organization. It is your role as the advisor, to help your students learn an effective planning process for carrying out chapter meetings, fundraisers and events.
